With their old store falling behind, 4gadgets needed fresh solutions for their refurbished tech gadgets website. Their new Adobe Commerce store achieves exactly that with a plethora of new features including a fully responsive modern design with a solution to buy and trade-in at the same time.
The 4gadgets team came to us with clear goals in mind. Their old websites lacked mobile optimisation, page load times were slow and customers had to visit two separate sites to buy and trade-in their old tech. The task was to integrate the buying and trade-in process, create a fully optimised desktop and mobile friendly website, and migrate to a platform that offered greater control over content and the website architecture.
Adobe Commerce was a perfect fit for this project allowing us to implement new website architecture and apply our unique solution to integrate the trade-in process. 4gadgets customers can now buy and trade-in at the same time with just one click of a button. Additionally, the new store offers improved branding, improved technical SEO and super-fast load times for enhanced customer experience.
For this build we utilised the Hyvä theme for Magento. Hyvä greatly enhances the store performance using modern and performant technologies, resulting in lightning-fast load times compared to the default theme. As a result the average 4gadgets page load time decreased from 6.47 seconds to 2.80 seconds, a staggering improvement of 57%!
